Thomas B. Helstowski, 61, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at his home.
Tom was the son of the late Anthony and Mildred (Miner) Helstowski.
He was employed as a Clerk with the New York State Police, Headquarters in Albany at the State Campus.
Tom loved music, the outdoors and spending time traveling to casinos.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, John Helstowski.
He is survived by his sister, Marilyn (James) Grant, his brother, Joseph (Janet) Helstowski and his sister-in-law Eiko Helstowski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a Charity of your choice in Tom's memory.
