Thomas J. Clancy Jr., 71, peacefully entered into eternal life on Friday, November 20, 2015 after a long illness.
Thomas was the son of the late Thomas and Cecelia Clancy. He is also predeceased by his brother, James E. Clancy.
Thomas was born in Albany and retired from the City of Albany after 42 years of service.
Tom was a happy go lucky man. He enjoyed listening to music and before his illness he also loved fishing, bowling and playing cards.
Thomas is survived by his sisters and brothers, Marian Clancy, Victoria and her husband Sylvester Clancy-Butler, Maureen and her husband Tony Ciarfello, Michael (Sue), Richard (Gail) and John (Dee) Clancy. He is also survived by his God son Ronald and his wife Vanessa Bowie, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He will be sadly missed and never forgotten, but now he is at peace and back doing what he loved, Fishing with his brother, Jimmy again.
Following a private family service, Tom will be laid to rest in a family plot in Our lady of angels cemetery, Colonie.
