LATHAM – Thomas J. Dupuis, 50, of Latham, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Tom was born in Albany and is the beloved son of Wilfrid Dupuis and the late Simone Beauparlant Dupuis. He was a 1980 graduate of Colonie Central High School and been a lifelong resident of Colonie. Tom was a carpenter with Local 291 in Albany and had been employed for many years with Parker & Hammond Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and snowmobiling. Tom was a longtime fan of the New York Giants and New York Yankees. He was a kind and loving man that was always ready to lend a helping hand.
He is the beloved husband of 26 years to Donna Warren Dupuis. Tom is the devoted father of Alisha M., Thomas J. Jr. and Luke M. Dupuis. He is the loving brother of Patty (Larry) Krushinsky, Bonita (Marty) Brecht, Martine (Bruce) Male and David (Sandy) Dupuis. Tom is the dear son-in-law of Peg Warren and the late Jake Warren. He is the brother-in-law of Debbie (Marty) Lahait. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Tom will be missed by his canine companion, Josey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday morning at 9:00 at Our Lady of Assumption Church, Latham. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 at OUR LADY OF ASSUMPTION CHURCH, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Rd., Latham. Interment will be in Memory Gardens.
