Thomas J. Guthan, 60, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Intensive Care Unit at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, after suffering a cardiac arrest. Tom was born in Schenectady to the late Ferdinand and Antonia Guthan. Tom grew up in Schenectady area and graduated from Linton High School. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother, Allan.
Survived by his wife, Sandra (Potter) Guthan; his daughter, Kimberly; his siblings, Ferdinand (Patricia) and Donald (Kathleen) Guthan and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Stanford Methodist Church, 1569 State St., Schenectady NY 12304 in Tom's memory.
