Thomas J. Riveglia

Thomas Riveglia, 46, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born in Syracuse to Edward and Alberta (Rossi) Riveglia. Tom was a graduate of Liverpool High School and earned his Bachelors degree from SUNY Oswego. Tom was formerly employed by Forward Financial Co. for 17 years. He was the owner of Lightning Advertising and an independent contractor. Tom enjoyed boating, collecting sports cars and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Tom is survived by his loving wife, Melissa (Conan) Riveglia; he is the cherished father of their twin boys, Joseph and Nicholas. Tom is the brother of Edward Jr. and Christine (Brian) Pfendler and the uncle of Kayla and Jacob. Tom is also survived by several other close family members and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 9 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie then to Christ the King Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am. Calling hours will be Friday from 4 to 8 at the funeral home. The parish family of Christ the King will gather on 5 pm at the funeral home for a service for prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Riveglia Children's Trust fund, c/o any Capital Communications.
