LOUDONVILLE – Thomas J. Kelly, 68, of Loudonville, died Monday, January 9, 2006 at his home, after a valiant fight against cancer. Tom was a graduate of Vincentian Institute, and was employed by the New York Telephone Co. for 48 years. He was a New York Telephone Pioneer, a member of the Colonie Elks, the Polish American Citizens Club and a communicant of St. Francis de Sales Church. Tom was a great man, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a person who everyone liked and respected. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Caroline Gaul Kelly; 3 daughters and one son; Lynn Remon and her husband, Jesus, Beth May and her husband, Michael, Deborah Kelly and Thomas Kelly IV and his wife, Megan Tunny Kelly. Tom had six grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Marie, Jessica, Thomas V and Caroline, whom he loved dearly. Tom's brother James Kelly and his wife, JoAnn, sister, Patricia Mulderry, sister-in-law, Shirley Guiry and brother-in-law Jere Gaul will miss him as well as his other surviving relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 11:30 to 1:30 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Funeral services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Memory's Garden.
