Thomas Kotary

COLONIE – Thomas E. Kotary, 71, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 10, 2007. Born in Booneville, NY he was the son of the late Eugene M. and Mary P. Kotary. Mr. Kotary was a Colonie resident for most of his life. Tom worked for General Electric Company for over 35 years, before his retirement. He enjoyed bowling and golfing, and was a member of the West Albany Rod and Gun Club. Tom is the beloved father of Dexter R. (Connie) Kotary of Colonie, Raymond C. (Kathy) Kotary of Colonie and James E. (Pat) of Columbus, OH. He is the brother of Patrick and Jean Marie Kotary and the late Michael Kotary. Tom is the cherished grandfather of Meaghan, Thomas and Joseph Kotary and Serena and Kara Kotary. Also surviving are five great-grandchildren and his former wife, Bonnie H. Kotary of Schenectady.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to Ellis Hospital, Oncology Dept., 1101 Nott St., Schenectady, NY 12308 in memory of Thomas E. Kotary.
