ALBANY - Thomas LaBello, 80, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 6, 1934 in Albany, he was the son of the late Rose and Frederick Adriance and grandson of the late Frank and Concetta LaBello. He is survived by his loving wife, Charen; daughter Tammy Price and her husband Brian, son Mark LaBello and his wife Ronayne, step-daughter Tracy LaMoy and her husband Leon, and step-daughter Lisa DeSano; grandchildren Jennifer, Nicole, Jessica, and William and great-grand son Jaxsen; and brother Frederick Adriance and wife Sarah; sister Carol Humphrey and husband Roger, and brother Joseph Adriance and his late wife Valerie. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Thomas was a retired Master Sergeant who served 21 years in the United States Air Force. He served in both the Vietnam and Korean Wars. He was a retired employee of the Gould Paper Corporation and a member of the American Legion.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens. Calling hours held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Thomas' name to Community Hospice of Schenectady or the Wounded Warrior Project.
