**Obituary for Thomas F. Lumley**

Clifton Park – Lumley, Thomas F., age 78, passed away on August 23, 2024 at his residence, with his loving family by his side. He was born to the late Thomas and Irene (Ward) Lumley and is remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Thomas was married to his beloved wife Janis for 56 years. Together, they raised two children: Matthew (Janis Singleton) Lumley of Ballston Spa, NY, and Rachel (Dan) Rockoff of Kennett Square, PA. He also took great pride in being a grandfather to five cherished grandchildren: Mark, Alexandra, and Eric Lumley; Jacob and Aaron Rockoff. Thomas is survived by his sister, Mary Hill, Powhatan, VA as well as numerous relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

He graduated from Catholic Central High School in Troy, NY, and furthered his education at The Junior College of Albany, where he earned an Associates Degree. Throughout his career, his professional journey included his significant contribution to his community, served as a member of the Knights of Columbus in Waterford, NY, as the Assistant Manager of the Lansingburgh Boys Club, and as the Business Manager of Catholic Central High School. He retired from his role as Supervisor of Managed Care for Rensselaer County.

An avid fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants, Thomas loved spending his leisure time fishing, camping, and vacationing in Cape Cod. He also found joy in walking his dog, Louie, and cherished moments spent with his family.
