SCOTIA – Thomas M. Zuchero, 60, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 11, 2007, while on vacation with his family in Westerly, Rhode Island.
Born in Albany, Tom was the son of the late Dominick and Jenny Palma Zuchero. He was employed by Mobile Air Transport, Inc. in Latham since 1975. He loved playing tennis and golf. His love and great sense of humor will be missed by all. Tom's dogs, Bailey and Dakota brought him great joy.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Judith A. Cavanaugh Zuchero. He is the brother-in-law of Jack and Judi Cavanaugh, Jane and Joe Bonavita, Mary O'Hair, Charles Schott and James Kenney. He is the beloved uncle of Michael Schott, Stephen and Tom Kenney, Patricia Kenney, Nancy Bakhuizen, Joseph and Mark Bonavita, Laura Cavanaugh and Clinton Strock. Tom will be missed by his beloved friends, Mike and Chris Antonio, Dan and Sue Meher, John and Judie Ingemie and Nina Motta. He was predeceased by his sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Schott and Mary Kenney and his brother-in-law, Miles Cavanaugh.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to Blessed Sacrament Church, 609 Central Ave. at Colby St., Albany where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
