Thomas L. Mcintyre, Sr.
October 10, 1943 — August 15, 2017
COLONIE-Thomas L. McIntyre, Sr., passed away peacefully on August 15, 2017 at home with his family.
He was the son of the late James and Florence McIntyre in Colonie.
Tom was a long time member of the Fuller Road Volunteer Fire Dept., he enjoyed fishing, playing pool and spending time with his family. He worked for Brown's Piano Mart for over 20 years. He later worked at BJ's Wholesale Club in Colonie. He will be dearly missed.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Linda; his children, Beth McIntyre, Thomas McIntyre, Jr., Christine Valentine; grandchildren, Paul (Megan) Palmer, Travis McIntyre-Scott, Kristopher Collins, Jordan Palmer, Reece McIntyre and Mark McIntyre; siblings, James (Ruth) McIntyre, Carol (Michael) Schultz, William (Pearl) McIntyre, Cheryl (Dean) Cavanaugh.
He was predeceased by son-in-law, Ronald Valentine.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Community Hospice Foundation, 310 South Manning Boulevard, Albany, NY 12208.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 4-7 pm at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A time to share memories will begin at 7 pm.
