GUILDERLAND – Thomas R. Blanchard Sr., 58, of Guilderland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 13, 2010 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Albany on March 12, 1952. He is the son of the late Margaret and Carl Blanchard, Jr. Tom was employed by Niagara Mohawk for 34 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Lorraine and their 6 children, Nichole, Tom (Christine), Jimmy (Fallon), Bobby, Ashley and Timmy and 4 grandchildren. He is also survived by 4 brothers and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Time of Remembrance followed by a short service Monday evening October 18th from 6-8 at Immanuel Lutheran Church; 1850 Union Street Niskayuna, NY 12309. Interment will be at Memory's Garden Tuesday, October 19th at 10am. Memorial contributions may be made in Tom's name to www.pancan.org for Pancreatic Cancer research.
