GLENVILLE- Thomas L. Stadler, 88, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2018.
Tom was the son of the late Phillip and Lena (Hotaling) Stadler.
Tom was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. proudly serving his country from 1948-1952 in the Korean Conflict. He was the devoted husband of Irene Pearson Stadler for 34 years, until her passing in 1989.
He worked for many years out of the Local 190 Laborers Union. Tom was a humble yet gregarious man who loved his family, worked hard and enjoyed many years with friends on annual fishing trips to the cape. He was also a long time active member of the Rotterdam Elks Lodge #2157, where he enjoyed bus trips with his significant other Katie Reynolds. He and Katie also wintered in Florida for many years prior to her passing.
He is survived by his son, Tim Stadler (Marcia Albertin); granddaughters, Tracy (Tom) McDermond and their children, Addyson and Ayden and Nicole (Allen) Johnson and their children, Payton and Cameron and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tom was predeceased by his brother, John Stadler; beloved wife, Irene Pearson Stadler and his long-time companion, Katie Reynolds.
In honor of Tom's wishes, services will be private. Interment will be at Memory Garden's Cemetery.
