Thomas Knox Van Bergen, age 78, passed away surrounded by his loving wife and children, Saturday, September 16, 2023 at the V.A. Medical Center in Albany, New York.
Thomas is the son of the late George I. Van Bergen and Josephine K. Van Bergen.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Clara A. Murphy-VanBergen; children Andrea (Cesar) Lopez, T'Quomas (Kellie) Van Bergen and Robin Emery; siblings LaRita Van Bergen, Jacquelyn Thompson, Barbara Van Bergen, and Andrew Van Bergen; grandchildren, Alexandra (Nils) Van Bergen, Francesca Lopez, Chelli Lopez, Enzo Knox Van Bergen and Ziggy Knox Van Bergen. He was predeceased by siblings George Van Bergen, Jr., Nannette Young, Rosa Van Bergen and Rubye Scriven.
Calling hours will be held in his honor on Monday, September 25, 2023 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
