Thomas J. Walker, 72, went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles and Dorothy Walker. He was a graduate of Sayreville War Memorial H.S. in Sayreville, NJ, and attended HVCC in Troy, NY. He was employed with the NYS Department of Labor as a computer programmer for 37 years. His passion was singing on worship teams and volunteering for the media display team. He was a member of Abounding Grace Christian Church in Rotterdam. He loved his cats, camping on the coast of Maine, and was an avid NY Yankees fan.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 45years, Kathleen; daughter, Jennifer (Jay); son, Jeff (Ashley); granddaughters, Victoria and Laurel; brothers, Dan (Cynthia) and Al (Faith); sister, Helen; and several nieces and nephews.
A private gathering will be held at a later date.
