Thomas Waters

COLONIE – Thomas J. Waters, 67, of Colonie, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2005. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Theresa LaFleur Waters. He has lived in Colonie for 32 years. Mr. Waters was a proud member of the Local Carpenter's Union #370 for 50 years and, was currently serving as president of the Carpenter's Local #370 Retirees. He was also a member of the Polish American Citizens Club. He especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters. Tom is the beloved husband of 37 years to Dorothy Morwin Waters. He is the devoted father of Thomas Andrew Waters and his wife, Stephanie of Schenectady and Daniel John Waters and his wife, Jenifer of Niskayuna. He is the brother of Shirley Fryer of New Hampshire and Barbara Bucalo of Michigan. He is the cherished "Grandpa" of Skyler and Abby May. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 8:15 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to the Church of St. Clare at 9:00 a.m. where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
