Thomas Wippich, passed away suddenly on June 19, 2018 at his home.
He was born on August 5, 1952 in Albany, NY. The son of William and the late Teresa O'Connell Wippich.
Tom graduated from Bishop Gibbons High School, Hudson Valley Community College and Excelsior College. He retired from Knolls Atomic Power Lab as a Compliance Engineer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing guitar, classic rock music and sun and sand. He was a computer geek before it was cool.
He is survived by his daughters, Erin Wippich, Brynn Patterson (her husband: Shawn Patterson and their kids; Gianna and Andrew Patterson), Allyn-Ann Bergen (her husband:Thomas James (TJ) Bergen, and their kids; Hayden and Thomas Jacob Bergen). Tom's brothers: William (Wife: Cheryl, Son: William), Robert (wife: Eileen, daughters, Jessica Kucskar, Meghan Wippich), Kevin (wife Patty).
Relatives and friends may call 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, where services will be held at 12 p.m. in the funeral home.
