Timothy W. Clickner
March 1, 1966 — March 20, 2023
Niskayuna- Timothy W. Clickner, 57, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2023 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Richard Clickner and the late Donna Labounty. Timothy was the devoted husband to Carol S. Clickner. They were married 20 years.
After graduating from high school, Timothy enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served proudly until his honorable discharge. Timothy went on to work as a Truck Driver for many years with Price Chopper and Matheson Tri-Gas.
Timothy went to St. John's Episcopal Church in Troy, New York where he and Carol were married.
Timothy enjoyed spending time with his entire family and traveling to the ocean. He was a huge Yankees fan and enjoyed attending their games with Carol. Timothy had a fond love of traveling to Maine, Florida, and London, where he attended Chelsea Soccer matches. Most of all, Timothy cherished he time he spent with his loving wife, Carol.
In addition to his wife, Timothy is survived by his children, Christopher (Christie) Clickner, Courtney (Aaron Figueroa) Clickner, and Jonathan Clickner; his grandchildren, Isabella Clickner, Christopher Clickner, Jr., and Mila Figueroa; his brother, Richard J. Clickner, Jr.; his beloved cat, Jeter; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Timothy was predeceased by his brother, Donald L. Clickner.
The family would like to thank the Physicians, Dr. Arun Puranik, Dr. David Shaffer, Joan Mance, NP., Dr. Hugh Fisher, and Dr. Rahul Ravilla who provided kind and compassionate care to Timothy and his family.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, New York 12189 on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 11am to 1pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10am with a burial to immediately follow at Eagle Mills Cemetery, 550 Garfield Rd, Troy, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Timothy's name to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Avenue, Menands, NY 12204.
