Timothy R. Hardy

Timothy R. "Timmy" Hardy, 63, passed away after a long illness Thursday, July 19, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Timothy was the son of Lillian Bethune and the late James Hardy. Timothy was the loving husband to Sharon. They were married over 25 unique years.

Timmy was an avid boxing fan. Timmy had a way of making anyone he met laugh and enjoyed trying his hand at cooking. He overcame many obstacles in his life, but always had time to tell a story or joke to anyone who would listen. Timmy will be remembered for his great sense of humor.

Timmy is survived by his 3 children; grandchildren; his siblings, Earl "AB" Hardy and Thelma Hardy, and many loving relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Nursing Staff of Samaritan Hospital in the ICU unit for their compassion and support.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A Memorial service will be held immediately following calling hours at 5:00 pm.
