Green Island- It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our brother Timothy J. Hickman, 67, who passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Timothy was born on August 20, 1953 to the late Thomas Hickman and Adalaide Hickman.

Tim lived in green island his whole life. He was a graduate of Heatly School and worked for N.Y.S. OTB in Albany for many years before retiring in 2020.

Tim was a member of Green Island United Methodist Church

Tim enjoyed spending time with his entire family.

Tim is survived by his sister, Carole J. (John) Boudreau; brother, Thomas F. (Shirley) Hickman; nephews, John David (Samantha) Boudreau and Robert J. (Danielle) Boudreau; niece, Sherrie (Arnold) Abate; and many great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tim is predeceased by his nephew, Thomas F. Hickman, Jr.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, New York on Thursday May 27, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm with a funeral service to immediately follow at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, New York.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tim's name to a charity of your choice.
