Timothy J. Nagell

SHARON - Timothy J. Nagell, 65, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at his home.

Tim was born on April 12, 1959 in Niskayuna and was the son of the late James V. and Patricia (Galbraith) Nagell. He worked for the Town of Niskayuna for over 36 years, retiring in 2021 as the chief water plant operator. He enjoyed being with his family, spending time outdoors, woodworking with his son, and helping his daughter with their horses. He was always working around his home, and able to fix just about anything. Tim was a kind and generous person, always ready to lend a hand when needed. Tim was a life member of the Stanford Heights Fire Department.

Tim is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sharon (Austin) Nagell; his loving children, Miranda (Jake) Antonaccio of Sharon Springs and Austin Nagell of Sharon Springs; his brother, Jeff (MaryJo) Nagell of Town of Florida. Tim is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 8th, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m.
