Albany – Timothy "Timmy" Rem, 25, died suddenly, Monday June 14, 2010.
Timmy was born in Albany February 15, 1985 and was a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of Guilderland High School – Class of 2004 and a graduate of the School of Massage Therapy after which Tim became a Licensed Massage Therapist. He had magical hands and a magical heart. He gave of his time and his heart by volunteering at the Damien Center in Albany.
Timothy is survived by his loving mother Nancy Franklin (Skeets) for whom he loved dearly. He is also survived by his two brothers Christopher Rem Jr. (Rachel) and Kevin Rem (Angela), his two beautiful nieces Carli and Allison and his loving girlfriend Allison Frament. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Albert and Nancy Friello. Tim was also survived by his loving father Christopher Rem, Sr. (Christine), paternal grandparents Margaret and Al Rem, three step-brothers TJ, Josh and Joe and many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him.
Timothy loved his family and friends more than anything else. He never left without saying "I love you" and we gladly returned the sentiment. He has been etched in our hearts forever and will be truly missed. Tim loved to help anyone in need and would stand up for the under dog always. He was one of the kindest souls and for those of us lucky enough to know him, we will be forever grateful.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Church, Lansingburgh 11:00am Friday. Calling hours will be Thursday 4:00 to 8:00pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
