Timothy Michael Ryan

Timothy M. Ryan, 42, husband of the late Katelyn Ryan of Colonie, NY, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025. 

Born November 29,1982 in North Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Kevin B. Ryan Jr., and Joanne J. (Duell) Ryan. 

Timmy graduated from Watervliet Jr. Sr. High. He had recently received his CDL license and began a promising new career at Safe Care Mobility Services in Albany, NY. 

Other than adoring his beautiful wife, Katie, he loved to cook. During the summer months one would always find him at the grill or smoker cooking for the family. He loved baseball as an avid Mets fan and also watching football. He was a lifetime NY Giants fan. 

Timmy was a very proud member of the North Albany Limericks and enjoyed celebrating his heritage by marching in the annual North Albany St. Patrick’s Day parade for more than 20 years.

He is survived by his son Brandon LeMay (Alicia Lescault) of Malta, NY; his brother Joseph Ryan (Jaime) of Wynantskill, NY and close family friend Kendra Shufelt; also by his brother-in-law Thomas Lyons of Colonie, NY. Timmy is also survived by many others who loved him, including cousins, a niece and nephew, and many other close friends and family.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 1580 Central Avenue, Albany NY 12205.Visitation will take place from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with a Funeral Mass to begin at 12:00 pm. The internment will follow at Albany Rural Cemetery.
