April 21, 1965 — August 31, 2023
ROTTERDAM, NY- Todd A. Rosa, 58, husband of Noelle M. Rosa, passed away Thursday, August 31st, 2023 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born April 21st, 1965, in Niskayuna, NY. He was the son of the late Edwin and Susan Rosa.
Todd graduated from Guilderland High School in 1983. After graduating, Todd began his journey in the workforce. Since he was a young boy, Todd had a passion for cars and motorcycles. This continued throughout his life and eventually influenced his career path and personal endeavors. He loved golf, beaches, rottweilers, his children, Sacandaga lake, and spending time with friends and family. You could often find Todd playing with his grandchildren or building their next new toy. Most of all, Todd enjoyed quiet times at home with his wife; his sunshine. You could find them sipping on a cup of coffee in the mornings, having a cocktail in the hottub in the evening, or just enjoying eachothers company and laughing the day away together.
Todd was a hard working, dedicated, and committed individual. He dabbled in many different jobs but ultimately found work that involved motor vehicles. After becoming a manager at Triumph, he found the confidence and drive to start his own business, TR Custom. Life took a turn for Todd in 2011. Following a near fatal motorcycle accident, he fought and recovered, ultimately finding a job he loved at Auto Cosmetics in Altamont, NY.
Todd was able to live out his vision of building his dream car, a 1972 Chevelle, from the ground up. You could often find Todd scrolling through his iPad looking for the next new car he could purchase or work on. Many of his close friends enjoyed when Todd would invite them to see his newest projects.
Todd was a selfless individual who did not say much but when he did, it was profound. His humor was witty and his generosity, one of a kind. Todd's personality was truly infectious and could make any place a good time. Nothing was ever boring when Todd was around and you would often catch his family laughing or shaking their head at his jokes and pranks.
He is survived by his wife, Noelle M. Rosa; his children: Andrew Rosa, Alexander (Elisabeth) Rosa , Victoria (Timothy) Tocco, and Stephanie VanAlstyne; two grandchildren: Lillian Stow-Rosa and Jonah Tocco; his sisters: Suzanne (David) Spiak and Tracy Durand; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and family. He is predeceased by his parents, nephew, and brother in law.
Friends may call Friday, September 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Clinton's Ditch Schenectady.
In lieu of flowers and donations, a memorial golf outing will be held for Todd starting in the Fall of 2024.
