Tonishia J. Debnam

Tonishia J Debnam better known as Niecy, born in Schenectady New York on May 12, 1972 to Geraldine Bowman and Walter Debnam, passed away on March 1, 2023 in the Brooklyn Methodist hospital.

Niecy was a proud health care provider for multiple firms for over 15 years and enjoyed working with people with special needs. Niecy is survived by her two sons, Taquan and Unique king along with her three sisters, Myra Buchanan, Sheila Davis and Niasia Coleman.

Niecy is a mother, sister, aunty and a grandmother of 7. During her unfortunate last day's, she was blessed by the every day aid of her life long partner Tony Hightower and her aunt Valerie Smith who made it all possible for her peaceful rest.

Tonishia (Niecy) Debnam is a god fearing woman who loved all her family, nieces and nephews and prayed faithfully for the health and well being of all her loved ones.

Friends and family are invited to attend visitation hours on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 10:00am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations & Funerals at 343 New Karner Road, Colonie NY, 12205. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, Schenectady NY.

The service will also be live-streamed for those who cannot attend in person.
