Tonita Veronica Glassford, 19, passed away peacefully at Albany Medical Center on May 14, 2014, after a long illness, with her family and friends by her side. She was born in Albany to Mark R. Glassford and Tonya M. Coleman.

Tonita was kind; caring and enjoyed shopping, hanging with her friends and traveling with her family. She loved spending time with her special friend, Vincent Malatino. She was known for her beautiful smile and her laughter.

Tonita is predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Nicholson and her maternal grandfather Matthew C. Coleman.

In addition to her parents Tonita is survived by her siblings; JaQuan Coleman, Teayona Glassford and Orlando Coleman. She is also survived by her grandmother June Coleman; her paternal grandmother Veronica Montgomery; her three special loving aunts; Theresa Johnson, Von Johnson and Robin Johnson; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins and close friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12:00 pm at The Greater St. Johns COGIC, 74 4th Ave. Albany, NY 12202. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Church. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
