Tonya Rose Redman

Ballston Spa- Tonya Rose Redman, 49, passed away peacefully embraced in her loving husband's arms, on Monday, September 26, 2022. Born in Schenectady, Tonya was the daughter of Stephen Anthony and Virginia Jean Ferlazzo. She is also survived by her loving husband, Rory Shane Redman.
Tonya was a proud graduate and excellent student at Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons High School Class of 1991.
Tonya worked at Knolls Atomic Laboratory/FMP for the past 8 years. She loved her job, and her accomplishments were outstanding. Her drive, initiative and work ethic was great. Her positive loving attitude was amazing and contagious. Tonya also worked 25 years for Monroe/ Stewart Title Insurance Company. Tonya loved to bake cakes and was very crafty. She really loved to be surrounded by family, especially with her son Rob and her beautiful grandchildren, Emma and Noah. She loved seeing her close friends, walking on a beach and loved spending all her time with her husband.
In addition to her husband and parents, Tonya is survived by her son- Robert Stephen Redman, daughter in law Kasey Elizabeth Redman, grandchildren, Emma Rose Redman and Noah Michael Redman. She is also survived by her brother Stephen Anthony Ferlazzo Jr and his wife Kimberly Ann Ferlazzo, her sister Lisa Dawn Attanasio (Ferlazzo) and her husband Dean Michael Attanasio. She will also be missed by her Grandfather Victor Nava, Father-in-law Robert Jay Redman and Mother-in-law Mary Anna Redman and Mother-in-Law Elaine Brown and Nephew Anthony William Yezzo Jr. and niece Angela Marie Yezzo.
Tonya was the kindest and most selfless person. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Especially, her husband.
Memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home during services. Flowers may also be sent to the funeral home for Tonya's services.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 4pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A funeral ceremony will begin at 7pm at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held on Wednesday at 12pm at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. A luncheon will follow the graveside service, all are welcomed.
