Travis J. Miller

November 4, 1992 — June 27, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Travis J. Miller of Westerlo on Thursday, June 27, 2024 . Travis was a cherished son, a beloved brother, a loyal friend, and a devoted member of his community. He leaves behind his mother, Sandra Miller, his father Robert (Nicole) Miller, and his siblings Bob (Roni Gbur) Miller, Erika (Kyle) Bates, and Scott (Sarah Dancer) Miller. Travis was also a proud and loving uncle to his beloved nieces and nephews, and will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Travis was a man of many passions and joys. He loved nothing more than gathering with friends around a bonfire, sharing jokes, and enjoying his eclectic taste in music. He found his true peace on the water in his kayak fishing and on his motorcycle with no particular destination. Travis cherished the moments he spent with his father. Whether it was on hunting trips, motorcycle adventures, or throwing a few casts in hopes of out fishing him; they always had a funny story to share when their adventure was over. He stayed connected to his siblings by sending crazy jokes/memes in texts and playing video games at all hours of the night. Recently, he found a new sense of fulfillment in his career in landscaping, where his hard work and dedication shone brightly.

A devoted member of Riser Motorcycle Association, Travis (Fumes) was the best ambassador his club could ask for. He was passionate about participating in meaningful fundraisers for local organizations, helping them raise essential funds to support their causes. His generous spirit and unwavering commitment to helping others made him the kind of person everyone wanted as a friend. His laugh was infectious, his smile brought joy to even the grumpiest of men, and his hugs were genuine and healing.

Travis’s unexpected departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him. His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and community. He will always be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, his humor, and his unwavering loyalty. Travis will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Rest in peace, Travis. Your spirit will ride on with us always.
