Trevor C. Bryan Sr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor C. Bryan Sr., age 67, on November 19, 2024. Trevor was born on November 10,1957, in St Thomas, Jamaica, to the late William Bryan and the late Cleopatra Grant. He relocated to Kingston in his early teens, where he soon discovered his passion for entrepreneurship. 

Trevor migrated to Albany, New York in 1988, where he spent most of his working years pursuing several business opportunities. He loved his family and expressed that love through cooking and feeding his family and friends. No one visited Trevor and left hungry!

When he wasn’t with family, Trevor loved hanging out with his friends at the local Stewarts Shop, drinking coffee and playing the lottery. At home, his TV remained tuned to CNN, and everyone (including his 4-year old grandson) knew to ask before changing the channel!

Trevor is survived by his life partner of 27 years, Patricia Bailey; his children: Sharlene Patricia Bryan, Trevor Bryan Jr., Jamar Bryan, Sean Bryan, Tiana Bryan and Mark Williams; grandchildren: Jordyn Bryan, Brielle Jae Bryan, Alaiya Jai Bryan, Tristan Williams and Makari Williams; siblings: Reeves (Valrie) Campbell, Marvalene Thobourne, Alda (aka Peggy) Grant, Karen Williams, David Bryan, Selvin (aka Leighton) Bryan, Christal (aka Donna) Bryan, Ranis Bryan and Claudeth Hall; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Trevor is predeceased by brothers: Gary Cooper and Sedric Bryan; sister Dorette Bryan; son, Patrick Bryan and grandson, Prince Amari Bryan.

All are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York 12205. Funeral services will begin at 10:15 a.m. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Delaware Avenue, Albany, New York. 

Trevor’s family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Albany Medical Center and everyone at his favorite Stewart’s Shop on Delaware Avenue in Albany.
