Tyshawn Q. Daniels, 18, was born on October 16, 2001 in the Bronx, NY to Tylene and Jamel Daniels. Shortly after he was born, the family moved to Cohoes, NY where Tyshawn became of age and made many friends in his community. He loved to laugh and have fun.

Tyshawn graduated from Cohoes High School in 2019. He played football and basketball and he loved to go fishing. Fishing was one of his favorite things to do. Tyshawn worked for a short time as a Package Handler for FedEx and he loved spending time with his family.

Tyshawn leaves to mourn his passing, his parents, Tylene and Jamel Daniels; his siblings, Jaquel and Zion Daniels; his niece, May Elle; his aunt, uncles, and a host of cousins and friends; and his grandmother, Patricia Ann Shivers. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Vester T. Lawrance.

Family and Friends are invited to visit at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Saturday, July 11, 2020 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. A Funeral Service, celebrated by Pastor Brittany Moore, will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 pm. Gathering size within the chapel will be based on the most current NYS occupancy requirements. Masks are required, and social distancing must be observed both inside and outside of the chapel

We are truly blessed to have had Tyshawn here with us for such a short while, but he left a lasting impression that will continue for a lifetime. He will be deeply missed, and we will never forget his perfect smile, his unique laugh, or the love he had for his family. He is now with God and there is no better place that he could be.
