U.S. Army Sgt. Raymond W. Warlikowski (retired), 41, of Melbourne, Fla., died Sunday, August 28, 2016, at his home.
The son of Raymond (Joanne) of Dunkirk and Jean L. Kirschenhiter of Schenectady, he was born June 6, 1975, in Port Jefferson, NY. He was graduate Schuylerville High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1994. He served his country in Germany, Bosnia and Korea and had four tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. He retired out of Fort Benning, Ga., on Jan. 30, 2014.
Raymond cherished the time he spent with his daughter, Emma and extended family, Kaylynn, Madison, and Michael.
Besides his parents and daughter, other survivors include: a sister, Denise Gravell of Schenectady; four brothers, Andrew
(Cindy) Warlikowski of Brocton, Bill (Shauna) Green of Austin, Texas, James M. (Vanessa) Green of Dunkirk and James G. (Julie) Warlikowski of Malta. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY, with a funeral service on Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY at 1 p.m. Monday.
