Valecia Lanieceedmunds Casale

ALBANY – Valecia Laniece Edmunds Casale, 57, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Valecia was born on March 11, 1955 in Halifax, VA and was the daughter of the late Lawrence Hardy and Roxy (Faulkner) Edmunds and granddaughter of the late Fannie "Big Ma" Faulkner.
Valecia worked for Price Chopper, NYS and Stewarts. She loved life, enjoyed music and shopping but most especially, spending time with her family. She always said "Live for today because tomorrow is not promised to you".
Valecia is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Andrea "Andre" Casale; her loving sons, Kareem Jemal Graham and Andre Edmund Casale; her cherished grandsons, Lashawn Kareem Graham and Vashawn Jemal Graham; her siblings, Rashid Iman, Andrea "Missy" Nelson, Tonya McCoy, and Arthur Nelson Jr. and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 am to 12 noon on Friday. Interment at Graceland Cemetery in Albany.
