HIGHLAND, NY- Vera Rose Marcucci O'Connor, 78, died peacefully in Highland, NY on March 14, 2009 after a long illness.
She was born in Albany in 1930 and was the daughter of the late Americo and Eleanor Parker Marcucci. Vera attended Albany High School and graduated with honors from Mildred Elley Business School. She was a licensed real estate agent in the Tri-City area and she was a former employee of Colonie Senior Services.
She is survived by her children, Karen O'Connor Dickinson of New Hampshire, John P. O'Connor of Albany, Christal O'Connor of Colonie, Cheryll O'Connor of Clifton Park, Dr. Marc O'Connor of Nevada and Brian O'Connor of Albany. She is the sister of Ronald Marcucci and the late Arlene Hess. In addition, she is survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
