ALBANY- Vera M. Stone, 90, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017.
Vera was born on October 19, 1926 to the late Victor Stone and Jestina Beckford in St. James Jamaica.
Vera is survived by her beloved children; Dorrett (Alanzo) Lee, Eileen Jarrett, Michael (Merlyn) Collins, Jasmin (Patrick) Allen, Claudette Chambers, Olive (Collin) Chambers-Houchen, Matts Chambers, Virginia (Howard Walker) Chambers, and Everton (Roshell) Chambers, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 10:00am-12:00pm, with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
