Vergin Novak

GUILDERLAND – Vergin Novak, 87, of Guilderland, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2006. Born in Watervliet, she was the daughter of the late Harazad and Nectar Hrachian. Mrs. Novak was a Watervliet resident for most of her life. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Vergin was the beloved wife of the late Felix (Phil) Novak. She is the devoted mother of Adrienne Daniels, Phyllis (Herb) Rhoades and Stanley (Suzanne) Novak. She is the loving sister of Adrena (Peter) Uram and Suren (Sarah) Hrachian. She is the cherished grandmother of Raymond and Michael Jewett, Tamara (Neil) Winawer, Patricia Daniels and Melissa (Paul) Alleva. She is the cherished great-grandmother of Justin, Seth and Alexis Jewett, Garrett Daniels and Dominick and Brianne Alleva. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 9:30 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church in Watervliet at 10:30 a.m. Calling hours will be Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church, 100 Troy-Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189 in memory of Vergin Novak.
