Verna Mae Parker, 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 22, 2018 at her home.
Verna was the daughter of the late Eddie Jackson and Wilma Wilkins.
She loved fishing and spending time with her family during family outings and reunions.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her son, Horace "Tony" Jackson-Dubois.
Verna is survived by her sisters and brother, Rebecca (Arthur L.) McDuffie, Delonice (Debbie) Wilkins and Lorraine (Lorraine "Shorty") Jackson. She is also survived by a host of family members and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY on Monday October 29, 2018 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Family and friends can share memories at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park, Schenectady, NY.
