Rensselaer- Vernon E. Barie, 61, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, with his loving family by his side.
Vern was born on October 7, 1954, in Albany, NY to the late George and Elizabeth Barie.
Vern is predeceased by his sister, Donna.
Vern is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Carol Barie, his children; Jennifer Kramer, and Michael Barie, his granddaughter, Madeleine Conroy, and his siblings; George, Debra, and Kevin.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 4:00pm-7:00pm with a service to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Vern's name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
