Vernon Frederick Walton

Albany- Vernon Frederick Walton, 72, passed away peacefully Monday, July 30, 2018.
Vernon served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 when he was honorably discharged. Vernon had many jobs throughout his life, but his true calling was working for Barnum & Bailey Circus.
Vernon is survived by his daughter, Pamela Warr; his 4 granchildren; 4 great grandchildren; his siblings, Mary (Mike Dunbar) Diggs, Morelle Diggs, and Ronald (Sherrie) Diggs; and many loving relatives and friends.
Vernon was predeceased by his mother, Mary Walton Diggs; his father, Morelle Diggs, Sr.; his siblings, Victoria and James Johnson.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, on Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville at 2:00 pm.
