Veronica M. Dick "Vicky"

Albany- Veronica M. Dick, 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on, Thursday, January 9, 2025. Born in Chelsea, MA she was the daughter of the late Henry and Lillian Cunningham. Veronica is predeceased by her loving husband Stephen M. Dick Sr.

Veronica lovingly known by "Vicky" is the second of eight children, Fran, John, Wynnie, Billy, Robbie, Kevin & Joy. All born to Lillian Corbin (Moore) . She was a former employee of the Massachusetts state Police Department and past president of the VFW post 639 in Malden, Massachusetts. Vicky loved gardening, had many pets over the years that she adored, and was an advocate for animals' rights.

Veronica is survived by her children, Kelly Freeman, Stephen Dick Jr. and Shawn Dick. 7 grandchildren, and.13 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she is predeceased by Daughter Lee Ann & her grandson Craig (C.J.)

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mohawk Hudson Humane Society located at 3 Oakland Ave Menands NY 12204.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 4pm-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals , 181 Troy Schenectady Rd. Watervliet, NY 12189. A funeral service will be Wednesday at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National.
