SCHENECTADY, NY – Veronica Eutice Revette, 74, passed away on Wednesday, May 05, 2010 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late John and Isabell Bartholomew. Eutice has resided in Schenectady for over 50 years. Mrs. Revette was a foster parent for over thirty-five years, raising many, many children in her home. She enjoyed ceramics, camping, playing bingo and, at one time, raising dachshunds. Eutice was the beloved wife of the late David L. Revette. She is the devoted mother of Michael (Suzanne) Revette of Scotia, Hollie (William) Akerson of Schenectady and Edward Revette of Schenectady. She is the cherished grandmother of Michael (Kelly) Revette, Jr., Joseph (Joamy) Revette, William Akerson, Jr., Cory Akerson and Matthew Akerson. She is the great-grandmother of Rosalia Akerson and Alexis Revette. Also surviving are numerous loving nieces, nephews and, her many special foster children.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
