Veronica F. Boeck

LATHAM – Veronica F. "Ronnie" Boeck, 71, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Ronnie was born on June 27, 1937 in New York, NY and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret (Donahue) Virano. She worked for Prudential Insurance Co. in Colonie, retiring after 20 years of service. She volunteered for the Schenectady Battered Women's Shelter and enjoyed doing individual acts of charity to countless amounts of people over the years.
Ronnie is the mother of Bernice C. Midgett and her husband Terry of N.C, Jon L. Boeck of Watervliet, Anthony J. Boeck of MO, Jerome R. Boeck and his wife Claire of Latham, Antoinette T. Tryniszewski and her husband Mark of Clifton Park and Alan D. Boeck and his wife Susan of Virginia Beach Va.; the grandmother of Jessica, Christina, Christopher, Danielle, Tonya, Jennifer, Jasmine and Jeffrey and the sister of Regina Sheber of Colonie and Vincent Virano and his wife Dianna of Albany. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Boeck; her son, Jeffrey Boeck; her daughters, Katrina and Laurel Boeck; her brother, Eugene Virano.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 a.m. Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) then to St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd., Latham, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna. Calling hours will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
