Troy - Veronica M. Mort, 90, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Veronica was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Charish.
Veronica worked for NYS Higher Education until her retirement in 1995. Veronica enjoyed traveling and doing volunteer work. Veronica liked doing crafts and coloring.
Veronica is survived by her children, Sharon (Pete, deceased) Hayes, Sheila (Donald) Mort-Grugan, Daniel T. Mort; grandson, Donald (Tracy) Mort-Grugan; great grandchildren, Emma Grugan and Donald Grugan IV and many loving relatives and friends.
Veronica was predeceased by her son, Gary S. Mort; her sister and three brothers.
A Graveside service will be held on April 21, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Jospeh's Cemetery, Troy.
Donations may be made in Veronica's memory to Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
