Veronica Sposato

Colonie- Veronica Sposato, 64, passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2006. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Willa Yanas. Veronica attended Albany High School. She was a member of the Joseph E. Zaloga Post, the Polish American Community Center and also the Albany Elks Lodge. Veronica is pre deceased by her husband Michael R. Sposato, her son Kenneth Martin, 2 brothers and three sisters.
Veronica is survived by her son Michael Sposato of Charlotte, NC, her daughter Michelle Renee Bowen and husband Robert of Niskayuna and her two grandchildren Ashley and Emily Bowen. She is also survived by her two sisters Lorraine Pitcher and husband Leonard and Barbara LaMountain.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 8:15 AM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.), then to Holy Family Parish in Albany where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Veronica Sposato.
