Vicky J. Cherney, 59, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Ellis hospital with her loving family by her side.
Vicky was the daughter of the late Eugene and Agnes "Sis" Scoville.
She is the devoted wife of over 32 years to Richard A. Cherney, Sr. and the adored mother of her three cherished sons; Joe, Charlie and Steven.
She worked for several years with Ames Department Store in Saratoga, where she developed many friendships.
In addition to her parents Vicky was predeceased by her infant sister, Laurie.
Vicky is survived by her husband, Richard A. Cherney, Sr.; her sons; Joseph (Jessica) Cherney, Charlie Cherney and Steven Cherney; her step children; Cindie (Joe) Russo, Debbie (Guy) St. Andrews, Pam (Bill) DiBacco, Richard Cherney, Jr., Keith Cherney and Mark (Tracey) Cherney. She is the sister of; Ronald (Kathy) Scoville, Eugene (Kim) Scoville, Jr., James Scoville and Jeremy (Kathy) Scoville. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY. Calling hours will be Monday August, 15, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Elmwood Cemetery.
