CLIFTON PARK, NY – Victor G. Canali, 66, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Gilbert and Clara Tenenini Canali. Victor was a resident and prominent business owner in Clifton Park. He has owned Clifton Park Auto Body for 25 years. Victor was a member of the Capital District Auto Body Association where he served in many officer capacities. Mr. Canali was an active member for over 20 years at the American Legion Post #1450 in Clifton Park. Victor is the husband of Sharyn (McNamee) Canali. He is the father of Karen (James) Brooks and Victor G. Canali, Jr. He is the brother of Louise C. (LeRoy) Albertson, Donna Canali, Mari (Buddy) Shafer and the late Gilbert Canali, Jr. Also surviving are two grandchildren and twelve nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved canine companion, "Whiskey." Victor will be missed by many, especially his sister, Louise.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
