Victor Newberry

ALBANY-Victor J. Newberry, of Albany, died October 22, 2006 at his home, peacefully in his sleep. Vic was a proud veteran of the US Army. He was an avid outdoorsman and had a large collection of antique and rare guns. He was a rugged individualist, who marched to his own drummer at all times. In his earlier years, Vic was an accomplished musician. He was also a skilled mechanic and craftsman.
Vic was predeceased by his mother Jane Heaphy and his younger brother, David Newberry.
Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, Central Ave in Colonie on Wednesday November 1, 2006 at 10:00 am. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the charity of one's choice.
