Vincent Belardo

COLONIE – Vincent Belardo, 97, of Colonie, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Salvatore and Maria Belardo.

Vincent was a proud veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy on the USS Bailey in the South Pacific.

Vincent is predeceased by his beloved wife of 65 years, Concetta Belardo and his son, Vincent Belardo

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Pariseau. He is a grandfather to Michael V. Belardo and Salvatore V. Belardo, Jr. (Annie) and great grandfather to Genaro and Angelina and his favorite nephew, Ralph Hunter.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the In-Home Care team of the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany for the dedicated care given to Vincent.

A graveside service will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Vincent’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project.
