Vincent Cardella, 71, was welcomed home into the loving arms of the Lord on March 17, 2025.

He was born on September 21, 1953 in Albany to the late Francis and Angelina Cardella of Colonie, NY.

Vinnie was a devoted husband to his wife, Debbie, and a proud father to his two children, Vincent Cardella, Jr. of Schoharie, NY and Erica Ackroyd (Wade) of Loudonville, NY; and his grandson Vincent Cardella, III.

He was a graduate of South Colonie High School in 1973 . Vincent was employed as an Auto Body Painter for over 50 years and enjoyed everything cars! He also loved snowmobiling, especially with his son and fellow coworkers. Some of his favorite memories was spending time with his three brothers. They would repeatedly tell the same old family stories and never fail to laugh until they were all red in the face and breathless. No matter what life threw at him, Vincent always put his trust in the Lord!

Vincent is survived by his brothers Francis Cardella, Jr. (Christina) and Santino Cardella (Valerie); and predeceased by his youngest brother David Cardella, Sr.

Friends and family are invited to attend Visitation on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205. On Saturday, March 29, 2025, all are welcome to join Visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
