ALBANY- Vincent L. Colello Sr., 73, of Latham, passed away on Friday April 28, 2006 at St. Peters Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Anthony and Ann Piombino Colello. Vince served in the US Army during the Korean War. He had worked for Tobin First Prize Packing Company for twenty five years, until it's closing. He enjoyed hunting and bowling. Vince was an avid fisherman.
He is the beloved husband of 54 years to Helen P. Colello. He is the devoted father of Vincent Colello Jr. (Lori), Anthony Colello (John Poggoli), Gregory Colello (Sherry) and Brian Colello (Debbie). He is the brother of Joseph Colello, Anthony Colello and Maryann Moreau. He is the grandfather of Penni, Michael, Nicholas and Christopher Colello. He is the great grandfather of Vanessa Cossart. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday afternoon at 1:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155- south of Central Ave). There will be no public calling hours.
