Vincent J. Agostara, 71, of Schenectady passed away on Sunday August 7, 2016. Vincent was born in Schenectady and lived there all his life. He co-owned a pet store known as Family Aquarium with his brother for many years. He also worked for Ellis hospital for 20 years before retiring. He was an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed fishing. He loved animals and loved spending time with his two cats Sunshine and Snow.
Vincent is predeceased by his parents, Amerigo and Nellie Bland Agostara, and his brother Harvey Agostara.
He is survived by his sister Arleen Sukup of Schodack Landing; His wife Pennie Agostara of Schenectday; His daughter Jamie Agostara and son Matthew Agostara also of Schenectady.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made in Vincent's memory to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia NY 12302.
